Tripped on your laces again: Forsylver opens up the hatch of truth on the eye-opening Promethazine Queen

This is a must-watch London-based indie band on the rise like a hungry hawk eyeing their prey with sharp focus. They have made their mark already and it feels like they haven’t even started.

Fresh from their debut headline show at 93 Feet East in Shoreditch on the 3rd of May, the much-hyped (with reason) Forsylver have a sizzling feel to their silky armour that makes feet tingle like jelly and gangly legs groove with joyous abandon.

Following on from the tasty-treat-of-a-single Lights Out from earlier on in 2024 that backed up 2023’s vein-throbbing 4-track Cash-Only EP, Forsylver reminds us all that we don’t need those extra unnatural boosts that are not needed. This is a look inside a youthful story that can get so hazy, with a daily routine with so much possible damage waiting to cause misery on the impressionable.

With lyrics kicking in so eloquently and a soulful bounce that must be danced to, Forsylver might be your new favourite London band to go and watch live in the face. They make catchy music to wash the stress away with, that will get the weekend started in the best possible way. Are you ready?
