Richard Russell has shared two new tracks featuring British singer Sampha.

The XL Recordings founder released the songs on his Reprezent radio show. The tracks will appear on his upcoming album Everything Is Recorded.

You can hear the first track, ‘Close But Not Quite‘ can be heard at 53:58, and the second, ‘Everything Is Recorded‘ starts at 1:13:51.

Not only does the album feature Sampha, it also includes the likes of Kamasi WashingtonSydDamon AlbarnWarren Ellis. It has already been revealed that the album would include contributions from Mark RonsonBrian Eno, and Peter Gabriel.

Russell is a well respected producer, having worked with jazz and R&B legends such as Gil Scott-Heron and Bobby Womack. The new tracks encompasses this through the moody aesthetic and soulful piano. This is only complimented by Sampha‘s warm and brooding vocals.

The album already has a lot of promise to be something special.
