The Chainsmokers teamed up with Coldplay for a live debut of ‘Something Just Like This’ last night at the BRIT awards.
The duo revealed the Coldplay collaboration track just a few hours before they debuted it live at the inaugural bash.
The performance opened with a silhouette of Chris Martin projected on a giant red curtain, which later dropped to allow a colourful light display to fill the stage. Naturally, Martin gave an energetic performance, running around the stage and even jumping into the crowd at one point.
Similar to the surprise drop of the track, the performance was kept secret until it happened. Martin had previously taken the stage to deliver a heartfelt tribute to the late George Michael.
