Set in a busy U.K. Cafe, Elli Ingram‘s video for ‘Table For Two‘ is an honest look into UK culture with some striking audio to accompany.
The video sees Ingram play a number of various characters throughout the greasy freeze frame narrative. She is accompanied by a cast who play your average ‘all-day-breakfast’ cafe attendees, every now and then mouthing the words to ‘Table For Two‘ as the camera pans amongst them. Watch below.
With social media being rushed by ‘The Mannequin Challenge’ earlier this year, it’s no surprise that the trend finally seeped into the music industry’s more official visual works.
Speaking to Wonderland about the video the Brighton-based singer said: “Getting this visual perfect was crucial for me and I got to do it with the absolute dream team, “Nadia Lee, Soki Mak, Maria Asadi, Jake Gallagher and all the rest!”
The video was directed by Nadia Lee whilst Soki Mak was responsible for the array of looks on show. Asadi and Gallagher were the masters behind the makeup and hair. ‘Table For Two‘ is available on all streaming platforms here.
