Adele’s first album in six years was released on November 19. The release contains 12 new songs, and those who buy its expensive deluxe edition will get three more bonus tracks, including a duet with Chris Stapleton.
One of the songs of the new album – Easy on me – was already released as a separate single on October 15 and immediately became number 1 in the charts of Great Britain, the USA, and on many streaming services, collecting a record 34 million views on YouTube in 20 hours. Heartbreaking Lyrics

Naming The Album
Why is the album named so? At this age, Adele was going through a divorce from her husband, businessman Simon Konecki, and at the same time, most of these songs were written that year. According to her, the record will help her eight-year-old son understand why his parents broke up.
“The album is dedicated to my son Angelo. I realised that I had to tell everything through the songs. He clearly understood what was really going on. Although I thought I was perfectly pretending that everything was fine,” said the singer.
The most touching track from the disc, My Little Love, contains excerpts from Adele’s conversation with her son. “I love your father because he gave you to me. You are half me and half dad,” she says to Angelo.
In the song, she also talked about her feelings after the divorce. “It seems to me that today is the first day since I left him when I feel lonely,” she said.
The last album, titled ’25’, was released in 2015. It was the Best Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album at the Grammy Awards. ’30’ became a continuation of the disc. “I learned many things about myself. I have discovered some really useful and healthy mental principles to go through life with, and I feel like I’ve finally found myself again”– said Adele.
