ALBUM REVIEW – Warme

Warme’s new album Council House Opera is a long awaited rock’n’roll album. One of those we have missed pretty much since the better days of Britpop were over. With addictive melodies and dynamic guitar hooks, this record shows that the Bradford lads are kicking off the year in style. Underlined by technical proficiency and a strong vocal energy, Warme are more than just leather jackets and attitude. And just like any great rock’n’roll record, ‘Council House Opera’ is staying true to the roots both by hinting at Gallagher mania from the 90s as well as psychedelic experimentation from the 60s. From ‘Monday Comedown’ to ‘Dadgad’ – this record wants to be enjoyed in its entirety.

Live dates:

Friday 8th of April @ Star of Kings in Kings Cross, London
