Azealia Banks has reportedly been slapped with a lawsuit following her failure to pay somewhere between $130,000 and $137,000 in credit card debt.
According to sources, Banks was sued by California-based City National Bank from whom she has claimed three separate lines of credit including two credit cards since 2012.
The lawsuit against the ‘212‘ singer was filed yesterday (14th June) in the Manhatten Supreme Court. The singer is said to owe $79,000; $8,000; and $50,000 on additional accounts.
This is not the first time Banks has had a run-in with the law this year. Amongst firing shots at other artists on social media, the Harlem singer was charged with assault following an incident with a female security guard where she allegedly bit her on the breast. The ‘Ice Princess‘ was pardoned however by accepting to undertake anger management classes. Read more about that here.
