Charli XCX has shared a brand new single called ‘Unlock It‘ which features Korean-American R&B artist Jay Park and German star, Kim Petras.
The new track, which follows her last offering, ‘Out Of My Head‘, with Tove Lo and ALMA which production from SOPHIE and A. G. Cook, is set to also appear on her POP 2 mixtape. POP 2 is out later this week (15 December) and is packed with features including MØ, CupcakKe, Carly Rae Jepsen, Mykki Blanco, and Caroline Polachek. ‘Unlock It‘ was premiered on Zane Lowe‘s Beats 1 show yesterday morning. “If I could pick at a time, I would have loved to be a musician and in the 70s,” Charli explained to Zane Lowe on the show. “I feel like I would have really crushed it. I would have been a good time for me you know.” She also discussed her relationship with both of the track’s featuring artists. Watch below
