Foo Fighter’s frontman Dave Grohl thanks Californian firefighters with a BBQ

Dave Grohl has thanked firefighters battling the Woolsey Fire in Los Angeles by cooking them a BBQ.

Grohl’s recently launched Backbeat BBQ provided the meal.

Firefighters continue to tirelessly tackle the wildfires, which have devastated California over the past week.

The blazes are already the most destructive in Californian history.

Two people have died in the Woolsey Fire so far, and at least 40 people have been killed in northern California by the Camp Fire, as well as over 200 people missing.

The fires have also lead to evacuations, with celebrities such as Neil Young, Miley Cyrus and Limp Bizkit’s Fred Durst losing their homes.
