JAKE MORLEY FOLLOWS IN PETER GABRIEL’S SONIC FOOTSTEPS AND RELEASES A NEW TRACK CALLED ‘WATCH YOURSELF’

JAKE MORLEY WATCH YOURSELF

Jake Morley is a London-based singer songwriter, getting ready to release his new single “Watch Yourself”.

Taken from his forth-coming LP “The Manual”, out 3rd of June, “Watch Yourself” sounds like a modern classic which could easily fit in Peter Gabriel’s sonic repertoire. The track is great in its own right. Is it a hit? Probably not, not in our day and age at least. Shoud it be? Definitely! Why? Because it’s an undeniable melodic and lyrical piece of art. How come? Due to how Jake manages to portray his utter worst fears and demons in the most flawless, timeless and beautiful way.

The new single brings us openly straight into Jake’s anxious and frightened mind. He duets with a choir of his subconscious, berating himself for being “a beautiful shambles, barely holding it together” whilst his unconscious mind says otherwise.

With the help of a long-term ally Calum McColl, “Watch Yourself” is made for the fans of Peter Gabriel, Hozier, Gotye and those with good taste.

“Everyone always says there isn’t a manual for becoming an adult, so I decided to make my own.” – Jake Morley
