Kasabian are the latest in a string of artists to gift their fans a music-shaped treat over Christmas.
The band have teased fans via SoundCloud by posting up a snippet of a track, simply titled ‘Pressie’, accompanied by a message saying: “Merry Christmas from Kasabian… here’s your #pressie.”
The Leicestershire indie rockers are currently working on their sixth studio album, following 2014’s ’48:13′. Speaking about new track ‘Put Your Life On It’ earlier this year, guitarist and main songwriter Serge Pizzorno said: “Lennon said the Beatles’ version of rock’n’roll was their chair. So I thought “Wow, I want to make my version of that chair.”‘
Singer Tom Meighan added: “Serge played me the demos and I was “fucking hell”. It’s nothing like ’48:13’.”
