Lil Uzi Vert drops debut solo album Luv Is Rage 2

Lil Uzi Vert has released his long awaited debut album, Luv Is Rage 2.

The album features guest appearances from Pharrell Williams and The Weeknd, and follows his 2015 breakout mixtape, Luv Is Rage. Prior to the LP release, Uzi teased a number of Instagram posts which appear to be alternate covers for the album. In the lead up to the Philly rapper’s debut, he dropped the massive ‘XO Tour Lif3‘ which has since reached triple platinum status. Although some tracks were shared by on DJ Drama and DJ Don Cannon’s Gangsta Grillz show on SiriusXM without Uzi’s consent, the new LP is all fresh material (bar ‘XO Tour Lif3‘).

The rap rock star released three mixtapes in 2016: Lil Uzi Vert vs. the World, The Perfect Luv Tape, and 1017 vs. the World—a collaboration with Gucci Mane.
