Corlyx somehow manage to remain both dark and colourful at the same time. How they do it? Pure magic. And that’s certainly obvious with the magnificent sound they have put in their new EP ‘One Of Us’. The duo consists of partners in crime, music and romance, Caitlin Stokes and Brandon Ashley. With an alluring mixture of industrial rock and some proper full on EDM underpinned by Caitlin’s energetic and emotionally powerful vocals, the songs on the record are absolutely addictive and a great set of tunes for everyone who appreciates experimental open-mindedness in music. Best song on the record would have to be ‘Nobody’s Happy’.
The EP ‘One Of Us’ and the second single release ‘Nobody’s Happy’ will be out 13th February 2016.
