‘What Happened Tonight’ by The Mcooleys, is a song made for the angsty teenager in all of us. The slow but catchy sounds by bass guitarist, Jake McCann, and drummer Matthew Booley, create a darkened atmosphere for lead singer Adam Booley’s distinctive voice to flow through. The new single is a part of their recently released UK EP ‘Empty Blue Skies’, another song from the EP is ‘Blond Hair’ a more upbeat track that also has a great sound.
The Mallorca based, but British born trio have already built up a local reputation by performing at venues all over the island and now they have shown an array of unique styles throughout the UK released EP in order to get a larger audience. I’m excited to see what’s next for the alternative rock band and go and check out the rest of the EP available now on online stores.
