‘Levels’, their first track of the year taken from their forthcoming E.P N to the G’s to be released on Dirtee Stank in April.
Clocking up over 26,000 Soundcloud plays within its first 48 hours, the video has now also hit the internet with it’s premiere via Pigeons & Planes and Complex. Set in the heart of London’s Fabric nightclub, Footsie & D Double E take you straight in to the rave. Teaming up with Taiki Nulight & My Nu Leng (Black Butter) on the production, the Generals set pace by embodying the spirit of Grime with a brand new energy. Packed deep with bass heavy rumbles and a seamless flow of hard bars, ad-libs and punch lines, the Levels are raised high for the remainder of the tracklist on N to the G’s. However, with productions from the likes of producer legends Toddla T and Sukh Knight to follow, the Newham Generals are set to maintain their command of the Grime kingdom for theforeseeable future.
