Pharrell favourite Maggie Rogers shares new track ‘Dog Years’

Pharrell launched the music career of  singer Maggie Rogers back in June when a video of him reacting to her track, ‘Alaska’, went viral. The song has been played almost 20 million times since then.

Rogers, who is currently working on a new EP, has just released her second track ‘Dog Years’ which was premiered earlier in the week on BBC Radio 1.

Speaking on the track the artist said:

“Dog Years is about a day I skipped class to stay in bed and make frozen pizza with a boy I loved.
Dog Years is about dance parties in the kitchen.
Dog Years is about chocolate milk and the Tompkins Square dog park.
Dog Years is about a thank you note.”

Maggie Rogers releases her debut EP in February 2017.
