Shanghai’s reputable M1NT is a nightlife all-rounder that annually hosts an in-house event called the All White Affair. Guests are invited to wear all white and join the massive party where several DJ’s from around the world spin to win the hearts and hips of thousands. This year, one of these DJ’s happened to be yours truly. Grateful to have been invited to a city that never sleeps unless it’s hung over. This place is in a world of its own. City lights from canals to skyscrapers serve to illuminate paths of night owls headed to one of dozens of equally elegant yet killer nightclubs. Crowds influenced by all electronic subgenres have formed a huge community that regularly invades dance-floors to create many memorable nights. Having already played at Now Or Never on New Year’s Eve and to M1NT’s awesome crowd more recently, I can easily say the energy in Shanghai is intense.
