Naza and El Mundo Team up for EP Featuring Barbatuques on Berlin’s label Perplex!

‘Best Day Of The Week’. That’s the meaning and the feeling of latest release of NAZA: Melhor Dia Da Semana EP, with single and remix that has Afro House in the spotlight by exploring ethnic and digital cultural wealth.

Last release of the German label Perplex! brings a single by Naza feat. Barbatuques with a remix by El Mundo. Two tracks that unite the swing of Latinity, the percussion of African roots and the modernity of synthesizers. DJs already find the EP on Beatport in addition to of course the main digital platforms.

A Brazilian based in North America, Naza became known with the NAZA Brothers, a duo he formed with his brother Rafael Nazareth. With a unique deep house tribal style, Naza mixes drums, percussion and engaging vocals with a signature bassline. His music gradually builds up with combinations of melodies with an imposing and special style.

If you want to know more about Naza you should listen to highly Beatport rated tracks “Ayo”, “Dimba”. These tracks took him to another level, with support from e-music heavy weights such as Amê, Dixon, Solomun Maceo Plex, Damian Lazarus and Cats n Dogz. It’s not surprising that the artist has grown appreciably around the world.

The Barbatuques band is world renowned, among others, for “baianá”, remixed by Pablo Fierro. With Half a million monthly listeners, they are a reference on using human body as an instrument. The group is close to the international icon Sérgio Mendes and has in its portfolio nothing less than the opening of the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, is it soft?

When asked what characteristics unite these artists, NAZA commented that:

Barbatuques has a happy and unique style for using the body as an instrument and I identify myself a lot with this energy. El Mundo, who made the remix, is an artist renowned for his organic melodic style, which flows and travels very well over musical styles, but without losing its essence”.

El Mundo
