Aaron Martyn sings about real life struggles and could be Hackney’s answer to Justin Bieber

Aaron Martyn is the young talented singer that could just be Hackney’s answer to Justin Bieber. At only 13-years-old, Aaron’s just got ‘one of those’ voices.

Aaron’s family are fully backing him and helping him to make his dreams a reality. Darren Martyn, Aaron’s father, has worked with many successful artists before – Tinie Tempah, K Factor’s Luke Friend, Krept & Konan, and Union J, so he knows when he’s onto something special. Darren, currently a record producer, songwriter and the founder of DM Unsigned, is helping to develop the young Hackney star.

Since July last year, the videos on Aaron’s YouTube channel have amassed an astonishing 193,000 views in total. He likes to post covers and mash-ups of his favourite songs and has added his magic touch to Drake, Justin Bieber, and The Chainsmokers to name a few, whilst also gifting his fans with some original material.

Tears Don’t Dry’ is the latest offering from the skilled budding London singer. Shared by Link Up TV’s YouTube channel, the track tells the story of an abusive relationship and can help give strength to those who may be suffering in silence. Focussed on the perspective of how a toxic relationship can affect a child, the song poses a strong message that can sometimes go unheard. Aaron, speaking to the Hackney Gazette said about the song; “I was kind of going through a moment with my mum because she had a boyfriend I didn’t really like and it messed up my school work and everything.

Aaron Martyn sings about real life and real struggles. His heartfelt covers portray darkness and strength in a beautiful and touching way. He’s to lift the spirits of anyone going through a tough time. Bright things are on the horizon for this guy.
