Bestival has revealed some hefty headliners for its new Dorset location this year.
Heading up the weekender – taking place 7th-10th September in the grounds of Dorset’s Lulworth Castle – are A Tribe Called Quest, The xx, and Pet Shop Boys.
Also joining the bill are Jamie T, Justice, Dizzee Rascal, Rag’N’Bone Man, Laura Mvula, Circa Waves and DJ Shadow.
The festival moves from its regular Isle of Wight location this year for the first time. The Lulworth Estate already hosts Bestival’s sister event Camp Bestival – which takes place this year on July 27th-30th.
Speaking about their impending headline spot at the festival, The xx said: “Bestival was one of the first festivals we played, back in 2010, and it had always been a dream for us… we even begged to play the previous year… In 2012 we returned to play the main stage and we’re so happy to say we’ll be headlining this year.“
