Nairobi based talent Nuri has embarked on an impressive creative streak in the last few months and his run is showing no signs of halting. Having started with an exciting debut single ‘Blue Lagoon’, Nuri has followed up with an impressive effort by the name of ‘Right Back’ which climbed Beatport’s ‘Electro House Top 100’ chart.
Nuri’s latest project is the launch of his much awaited radio show, which has now premiered. Heading to become a bi-weekly staple ‘Horizon Radio Show’ is Nuri’s showcase for his refined music selection skills and mixing mastery. Nuri’s show will seek to become a platform for both established and up-coming artists.
His first show is a display of heavyweight tracks, including the works of A-list artists such as: Spencer Tarring, Headhunterz & Crystal Lake, Matt Watkins, Steve Aoki & Nervo, Swaen, R3hab, Deniz Koyu & Don Palm, Mightyfools & Ansol, Otto Knows, Zedd, Magnificence & Alec Maire, KSHMR and Quintino. 15 exhilarating productions put together in a 51 minute mix, ‘Horizon Radio Show’ episode #1 has already landed a spot on Mixcloud’s ‘EDM chart’ at #84, in just a few of days.
Such a remarkable debut on the airwaves is surely prospecting much more yet to come from the Kenya based talent. Nuri is certainly becoming one of the fastest moving new comers and this radio show is surely another important milestone in his rise to success.
