Suzuki Method Release Debut Single

Suzuki Method

Manchester’s electro shoegazers Suzuki Method released debut single Country Cousins last Sunday and award winning producer Dave Tolan (New Order, Primal Scream, the Charlatans & Johnny Marr) has spoken out about his excitement at working on the new project.

Tolan also produced the bands new EP ‘Native’, scheduled for release later this summer on A1(m) Records.

He states;

“I have been following the progress of the band for some time; they have a unique sound and songs that show real promise. There are some really great elements embodied in their music that genuinely excite me, I’ve now been given the opportunity to unlock their real potential and produce songs that will really mean something to people, songs that’ll stand up strong and generate significant radio play”.

Country Cousins was written during the 2011 Manchester riots and you can sense the urgency within the lyrics. Albeit a dance floor filler, the song carries itself with a serious tone, bottled up in the industrial sounds whaling out of the beat.

Certainly a band to watch out for.
