The two-hour film, called The Show Must Go On, is set to air on ABC on April 29th.
The films main focus will be on Lambert’s career following his debut as Queen frontman on American Idol back in 2009.
The programme will also reportedly feature exclusive behind-the-scenes concert footage dating back to their first performances together in 2011, alongside several interviews with Bohemian Rhapsody star Rami Malek, Queen drummer Roger Taylor, and guitarist Brian May.
Writing on Twitter, Lambert said: “So excited about our documentary “The Show Must Go On – The Queen + Adam Lambert Story” airing on @ABCNetwork on April 29th!!,”
