The Rhetoriks are a dynamic duo made up of Scottish based songstress Elle Mariachi and London-born rapper J Active. They formed in early 2013 after a call for collaborators was put out on social network sites and found that they were featured on the same track. Together they share an undeniable musical chemistry that has seen them perform at a variety of festivals from Pride Scotia Festival to Stereofunks 2014 festival. Their live shows are full of energy set at a pace that engages crowds resulting in an instantaneous musical connection.
Their independent debut single ‘Take My Soul Away’ garnered worldwide support and peaked in the UK Commercial Club Chart at no. 16. Their latest single ‘Yeah I Do’ has a dance festival feel and undeniably compliments its predecessor. This essentially propelled their second release to no. 9 in the commercial pop chart. The Rhetoriks are a team with a diverse look at music who carefully craft their songs by laying powerful vocals to highly charged dance music whilst twisting in some urban pop to it.
