DJ Khaled has dropped a surprise new song featuring Beyoncé and husband Jay Z.
The track ‘Shining’ was released straight after the 59th Grammy Awards in which Beyoncé performed.
The boastful track has Beyonce taking the lead before Jay Z comes in at the end where he speaks about his wife’s pregnancy. Some have been suggesting that the rapper is dissing Drake in the line “I know y’all ain’t out here talking numbers, right? I know y’all ain’t out here talking summers, right? I know you walkin’ round, talking down/Saying boss shit when you a runner, right?”.
Jay Z has worked with Khaled before as he appeared on track ‘I Got the Keys’ from Khaled’s ninth studio album Major Key. Khaled’s next album Grateful will apparently feature his 4-month-old son, Asahd Tuck Khaled, as a producer of the album. The artwork for ‘Shining’ is of Asahd. There has been no confirmed release date for the album.
