Marzmates unveils a brand new track, ‘Flowing’. The seductive melody teeters between pulsating percussion and soaring soulful vocals, allowing her alluring lyrics to capture each note. Echoed by a male harmony, the Canadian artist creates a brooding atmosphere with the rhythm, hypnotising the listener with ease.
Describing the inspirations behind the single, she explains: “Flowing is a sensual track, with sultry vocals. It is a description of a positive sexual experience with a partner. This song is really important to me, since I produced the instrumental, wrote the lyrics and imagined the topline. It’s the first time that I wrote a song where emotions aren’t the top priority; I wanted to express the more physical aspect of life. Usually, I write love songs, but this is a sex song, which goes out of my comfort zone. I’m really proud of it, even though it was a challenge for me”.
Born and raised in Montreal, the 18-year-old singer-songwriter has been making waves in the past year, with her previous drops ‘Ice Vanilla’ and ‘Better Baby’ being received to critical acclaim.
