After spending the last few months developing his sound and taking influences from the likes of Angus & Julia Stone, Passenger, and Milky Chance, emerging singer and songwriter Fabri has now delivered his eagerly-awaited debut single ‘Here Tonight’.
Taking his cues from familiar pop tropes and blending them with a rich and dynamic direction, ‘Here Tonight’ makes for a wonderfully warm introduction to his sound. Mixing a subtle blend of piano and guitar hooks with his own euphoric voice throughout, it feels like we are going to be hearing a lot more from him in the months ahead.
Speaking about the new release, Fabri said, “’Here Tonight’ describes the feeling of a moment that is slipping away. The song is set in a summer night during my last year of high school, a period in which I was conscious of the fact that life would soon drift me apart from many of my friends as we would set out for different paths in different cities.”
