PREMIERE: The Fabulous Red Diesel return with the glistening visuals for soul-jazz number ‘Nellie Gale’

A collective that refuse to follow any typical rulebook, The Fabulous Red Diesel could easily become your new favourite soul-jazz collective, I mean, there’s not that many around, right? Composed of husband and wife on vocals, a transgender trumpeter and double bassist, a synth player and a guitarist named Rabbi Jaffa Delicious, TFRD are like no other. Back with the addictive new visuals for ‘Nellie Gale’, taken from their album ‘The Queensbury House Sessions’, this wacky but wonderful collective are stating to always be true to yourself, no matter how strange you may come across.

Sharing their thoughts on the visuals, Kat, lead vocalist, mentions, “this video is a very cheeky black and white romp through the story, with a host of very colourful characters including Squiffy Oglespink, Will-I Juan, Sir Everard Squiffy QC, Lord Pedro Handlebar as well as Miss Nellie Gale herself played by myself, her great grand-daughter, Kat Lee-Ryan.”

Upbeat, and somewhat circus-like, there’s no clowning around with this collective, they’re straight to the point and lovable. “Nellie Gale” is out now and is a vibrant release to simply get lost in.
