Record Club breathe new life into big room with new single ‘Switch It Up’

Following their impressive January 2022 release “You Make Me Feel,” which combines radio-ready pop aesthetics with intoxicating electro house energy, buzzing duo Record Club are back with “Switch It Up,” staying true to their mission of keeping big room and festival house alive. Filled with exciting drum-work, engaging buildups and infectious drop leads, “Switch It Up” perfectly displays Record Club’s unmatched production qualities, and will definitely start lighting up festival stages in no time.

“Following up ‘You Make Me Feel’ we decided to dial in our Big Room roots with ‘Switch It Up’ and man are we excited to drop this one,” say Record Club. “This time around we wanted to switch it up and focus more on utilizing noises and sounds to guide the listener through the track instead of relying solely on vocals. The instrumentals behind Martin Garrix’s track ‘Diamonds’ initially sparked our creative interest into making this track because of the way his track dives right in from the get go and never lets up. However, as you can see with the name, the driving force behind our song is the switch up during our second drop which we know will really catch the listener’s attention and keep their interest the entire time. We’re here to lead the charge in bringing Big Room back, and ‘Switch It Up’ is just the beginning!”

Comprised of two brothers, Alex and Dan, Record Club are strongly influenced by the electro and progressive sounds that dominated the festival circuit in the early 2010s, an era that sparked their initial love for dance music and everything it stands for. With support from the likes of R3HAB and Valy Mo, Record Club kicked off their career back in 2020 with “Back to You” and haven’t looked back since, consistently sharing exciting music with the goal of changing the EDM landscape.
