Irish hip-hop duo Tebi Rex have revealed their sophomore album It’s Gonna Be Okay, bringing a sound which embraces pop, rock and alternative influences to craft something completely idiosyncratic. Filled with dizzying drops, infectious melodies and smooth rap cadences, the record explores politics and anxiety amongst other themes. With moments of darkness and introspection meeting alt-pop positivity, this record is a glowing endorsement for Tebi Rex.
Describing their new project, Tebi Rex shared: “It’s about a boy learning to cope, to be happy in a world that feels like it’s on fire. We’re tryna be optimistic for once. Sorta.”
