Benin City have unveiled the video for their new track ‘Final Form’, taken from their eagerly awaited second album, Last Night.
Jam-packed with infectious indie-electro basslines and afro-pop vocals, ‘Final Form‘ follows the release of ‘Take Me There‘ and ‘All Smoke, No Fire’, the first two singles to be lifted from the forthcoming record. The new visuals, directed by George Bushaway, follow two clubbers as they each explore the city after dark. A tribute to London’s alluring and alternative nightlife, ‘Final Form‘ flickers through an intoxicating and euphoric collection of memories that every Londoner can relate to. The London three-piece is made up of vocalist Shanaz Dorsett, poet and vocalist Joshua Idehen and multi-instrumentalist Tom Leaper. The band recently played a sold-out show at London’s The Watling Room and are set to play four SXSW shows in Austin, Texas, including one for BBC Radio 1. A number of UK festivals are also confirmed, including Poetry and Lyrics Festival with Cerys Matthews and Boomtown.
