Frank Ocean takes snaps at Met Gala 2017

Frank Ocean made a rare public appearance this month, turning up at the 2017 Met Gala to take some pictures for Vogue.

Using a Contax T3 35mm camera to capture scenes from the bash, Ocean took shots of A$AP Rocky kissing Gwyneth Paltrow, Zoë Kravitz, Gigi Hadid, Jaden Smith, and many more. He also popped up in a bathroom selfie taken by Kylie Jenner. In a Tumblr post he wrote: “Thanks Anna [Wintour] for letting me shoot the party.”

Ocean has shared a slew of new music thus far in 2017, putting out Chanel, Biking, Lens, and debuting Slide On Me on his blonded RADIO show on Beats 1.

Also at the bash, Rihanna stormed the red carpet in an outlandish outfit from Japanese designer Rei Kawakubo’s Comme des Garçons Fall 2016 collection – which was duly copied in adorable fashion by a young fan.
