The Scottish Album of the Year award long-list was revealed last night.
Twenty of the best Scottish albums were announced as contenders for the 2017 Scottish Album of the Year at the Glasgow O2 ABC. With performances from the likes of Steve Mason, Admiral Fallow, and Mungo’s Hi Fi, this was a night that saw Scotland’s diverse and vibrant music scene celebrated.
The SAY Award 2017 Longlist is as follows:

The albums can be found at www.sayaward.com where two albums will be featured every day starting 29th May.
The long-list will be whittled down to just 10 albums to be included on the shortlist. Nine of these albums will be chosen by a panel of judges and one will be picked via a public vote which will take place 12th – 14th June.
The shortlist will be announced 15th June through BBC Radio Scotland, with the winner announced on 28th June. Along with the prestigious title, the winner will also get £20,000 and nine of the runners-up will be awarded £1,000.
