Champion DI is a name we hadn’t heard before ‘Jetsons’, but following this latest release, I have a feeling we’re going to be hearing a lot more of him.
‘Jetsons’ presents a mature and grown up adaptation of todays modern UK rap and drill style, packaging it in a smooth, yet hard hitting fashion which is rarely seen in the current climate. Champion also has a unique backstory, he was the first rapper to ever be accepted into the BRIT school of music for purely rap ability alone, which is showcased perfectly in the artistry presented in ‘Jetsons’
If you’re looking for a more left of field artist in the UK Rap world, different to what you’ve heard before, then DI is your man.
