Bollywood’s ‘Enredados, La Confusión’ blends Far East spice with Latin cinema

Prepare for Enredados, La Confusión to bridge the distant gap between Spanish cinema and the enchanting Bollywood genre.

The latest offering from the Pacific Investment Corporation is the dreamy new project, starring Teresa Rodriguez & Prabhakar Sharan. Enredados, La Confusión is the first Latin movie to infuse Bollywood’s magical touch.

Enredados, La Confusión has it all. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll feel warm and fuzzy inside – and at times, the breath-taking action will have you clinging to the edge of your seat. The film comes equipped with the most mesmerising soundtrack. The four-track accompaniment, along with the film’s theme, has all the traditional appeal of classical Latin music with a twist of Far East spice. Merging elements from both cultures, the musical aspect alone creates something truly unique, which only heightens the authentic experience.

The Ashish R Mohan directed film follows Leo, played by Prabhakar Sharan, on an epic action-packed journey where eventually he must choose between money or love. Don’t be fooled by Enredados, La Confusión’s fast-paced pulse and testosterone-fuelled atmosphere – there’s plenty of laughs along the way, not to mention the heart-warming romance and beautiful soundtrack.

Enredados, La Confusión boasts an impressive cast with some familiar faces. Even WWF champion Scott Steiner makes an appearance playing the ominous boss character who protagonist Leo must contest. With scenes including up to 300 dancers, the musical sequences are captivating. The impressive combination of music, comedy, and dance delivers all of the traditional Bollywood charm with the heart-stopping action of Hollywood greats.

Enredados, La Confusión, translated roughly to Entangled, The Confusion in English, will hit the big screen on 9th February 2017. The groundbreaking Latin-Bollywood hybrid is sure to be the first in many new collaborative features. This instant classic will not only pave the way from India to central America, but become a staple in both the Bollywood and Latin film genres.
