Introducing: Francesco Sparacello

Francesco Sparacello

Hailing from the little town of Lodi in Italy, Francesco Sparacello is quickly making a name for himself as one of the fastest moving talents around. Kicking off his musical career in the year 2000, he’s been putting his signature on top-notch productions from the very start, building up his catalogue with multiple tracks which landed chart placements.

Along the years Francesco Sparacello has also managed to develop a unique blend of electronic music styles, gaining the support of some of the world’s best spinners and he’s also had the pleasure of collaborating with heavyweight names like: Shena Winchester, Simon Green, Jordana Ashkenadzi, Sam Marrifield, Marcus Marshall, Gabriella Feldman, Judge Jules and Steve Mac amongst others.

We’ve decided to have a chat with Francesco to get to know him a bit better and unveil some of the plans he’s got in store for the coming months.

Hi Francesco, how are you and what’s going on in your world at the moment?

Hey, everything is great here – I’m producing new tracks and selecting various singers to collaborate with. I’m very much looking forward to share my new projects with you and all my fans.

Where are you currently based?

I live in Lodi, a small town close to Milan. It’s a very calm place, maybe even too much 🙂

For those who are not familiar with your music – how would you describe your style?

I like being versatile when it comes to style – I dabble into EDM, Progressive House, Electro and even Deep House and Pop, I can’t say I have a favourite genre to work with.

Has your sound gone through any changes at some point?

I’ve started producing Pop but I knew that at some point Dance music would have become the new Pop and therefore my sound had to evolve. Then technology helped a lot to drive this change forward.

Where do you draw your influences?

I still listen to a lot of 70s and 80s Vinyls, I think they’re the best years when it comes to melody and innovation – the 80s are a great influence for me for production.

When and how did you get into electronic music?

I’d say it’s always been a type of music that I liked since I was a kid, but I started working closely within the electronic genres since the year 2000.

Do you consider yourself more of a producer or DJ?

I feel I’m more of a producer – I like the studio environment but nowadays it’s almost obligatory to DJ as well, it’s an important aspect to get visibility, you can’t be too detached from your fans.

Walk us through some of your most memorable moments in your career so far.

I’ve had some memorable moments since the very start – the first chart placements in Italy and my touring in Paris, Berlin and of course Italy. I love my job and it makes me happy every day. I think my biggest achievement is being able to see the crowds dance when I play my own tracks as if they were well known tunes – that’s the ultimate goal for a producer.

Where would you like to see yourself in the coming months?

I’d like to land spots on major event line-ups, mostly to get my name out there and have people listen to my music.

Do you have any projects coming up this year?

I’ve got two new singles which are almost ready, I just need to choose the right voice for them – but they will feature important names – stay tuned 🙂

Who’s inspiring you in 2015?

I appreciate all artists because art is a personal thing but if we look at 2015 it has certainly been Calvin Harris’ year – I think he’s the best artist on the EDM scene right now.

Your all-time favourite track?

Difficult question to answer but I’ll try 🙂 I’d say it’s Cerrone – Supernature.

Tell us something not many people know about Francesco Sparacello?

I’m a producer who spends countless hours in the studio, experimenting with new sounds, plus I love cooking and if I weren’t a producer I would surely be a chef.

Francesco Sparacello is…

I don’t like using stage names, I’ve always exposed myself for who I am. Francesco Sparacello is a producer with many dreams in store.

Anything to add/shout outs?

Hope to see you all at my next gigs and I look forward to share my new tracks with you guys. In the meantime, check out my social media pages and stay tuned for updates.

Thanks Francesco!

Thanks and a big hug!
