This is by no means the first time Canadian singer Marc Martel has been compared to the late, great Freddie Mercury, but could his latest cover be the closest he’s come to matching the legendary Queen frontman? Watch his take on ‘We Are The Champions’ here.
Formerly the singer of Christian rock band Downhere, Martel joined Roger Taylor’s official Queen tribute tour The Queen Extravaganza in 2012 after posting a cover of “Somebody To Love” on YouTube. Watch below.
Martel has also recently contributed vocals to the upcoming biographical Queen film Bohemian Rhapsody, which is set for release on 24th October.
