New single/Free Download: Magazine Gap – ‘Body Language’

When it comes to proper, upbeat pop, funk and rock music, songs generally have a single aim – to get the listener to move with them. Whether it’s a tapping toe, a nodding head or an all out assault on the dance floor, these genres specialise in getting people moving.

It’s a fitting subject then for the new single from Magazine Gap. Out now as a free download, ‘Body Language’ is all about how music can almost involuntarily cause people to move, dance and communicate with their bodies, and fittingly it’s wrapped in a package which does just that.

From its very start, this a song with a defined tempo and a funky approach, enough to get even the biggest stick in the mud moving. It’s a trait shared with previous single ‘What’s That About?’, all of which bodes very well for the upcoming release of their new EP.
